Lead by Hossein Tabatabai, Transbay Fire Protection sets high standards of quality and professionalism for our team. Before becoming President in 2013, Hossein served as District Manager and Vice President of Operations for the company. He brings 34 years of progressive experience in the Fire Protection industry, as well as a Certificate in Fire Protection Systems from New York University and a degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno.
Hossein currently serves on the Local 483 JATC Committee. He also serves as a member of the Northern California National Fire Sprinkler Association Chapter. This involvement both promotes the industry as a whole and provides awareness of current opportunities and issues with local and state Fire Departments and labor availability.
With 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Dave Manica brings with him a vast amount of experience in the design and installation of Fire Protection Systems, contract management, estimating, budgeting, 3-D coordination, and field supervision. He has effectively managed all phases of construction from design development to owner acceptance.
Dave has been with Transbay Fire Protection, Inc. since 1997. He started as a senior project manager, became a District Manager for the Northern California operation in 2004, moved on to the Executive Project Manager position in 2014 and finally Vice President of Transbay in 2019. He is overseeing operations of the company’s many projects and is training Transbay’s junior managers to become successful future leaders.
